A Medical Spa Alternative for
Grand Rapids, Michigan
Most medical spas are aesthetician-run and cannot prescribe. Dermatologists prescribe from a fixed formulary. We sit in between: clinical skin experts working with compounded, prescription-grade formulations built for your skin specifically.

The gap between a med spa and a dermatologist
A med spa can give you a good facial and a device treatment, but it cannot formulate for a condition. A dermatology office can prescribe, but only from what is already on the formulary, which is why so many rosacea and eczema patients cycle through the same four products and plateau.
Because we compound, we can build a formulation around your barrier state and trigger pattern rather than fitting you to an existing product. That is the entire reason patients drive out from the city instead of booking closer to home.
What we treat
Medical skin conditions including rosacea, cystic and hormonal acne, eczema, dermatitis, and psoriasis. Clinical facials built on transdermal nutrition, barrier repair, and lymphatic support rather than surface relaxation. And metabolic lymphatic drainage for cellulite, contour, and GLP-1 body support.
Every visit starts with a consultation and ends with a written protocol, whether you book treatment that day or not. Consultation fees apply toward your first treatment, so starting with a conversation costs you nothing extra.
Included with every protocol
- Consultation with a clinical skin expert, not a sales script
- Compounded, prescription-grade formulations where appropriate
- A written protocol you keep regardless of what you book
- Photo tracking on four to six week protocol cycles
- Coordination with your prescribing provider when relevant
- No packages sold before an assessment

Every question below is one we've heard from patients who almost didn't book. Here are the honest answers.
Are you a medical spa or a dermatology practice?+
Neither exactly. We are a clinical spa run by clinical skin experts with compounding backgrounds, which lets us build formulations a med spa cannot and tailor beyond a standard formulary.
Book a ServiceWhere are you relative to Grand Rapids?+
6741 Fulton St E #200 in Ada, 15 to 20 minutes east of downtown via Fulton St E or I-96 to the East Beltline. Free parking at the suite entrance.
Book a ServiceDo you take insurance?+
Spa services are paid out of pocket, and receipts can be submitted to an HSA or FSA. The adjoining Keystone Pharmacy accepts most major insurance for prescriptions.
Book a ServiceWhat should I book first?+
A consultation. It is flat-rate, applied toward your first treatment, and it is the only way we will recommend a protocol. If you would rather start online, the two-minute skin quiz gives us enough to suggest a direction.
Book a ServiceWill this actually work if nothing else has?+
Honestly, that's the patient we see most. The reason over-the-counter products and one-size-fits-all prescriptions usually fail isn't you, it's the formulation. We're clinical skin experts, which means your protocol is built specifically for your skin's chemistry, barrier state, and trigger pattern. If after a full consultation we don't believe we can move the needle for you, we'll tell you that, and refer you somewhere that can.
Book a ServiceWhat if I can't afford it?+
We get it. Consultations are flat-rate and applied toward your first treatment, so you're never paying twice. Series packages reduce per-session pricing significantly, and we'll always show you the lowest-cost path that still gets results, even if that means starting with a single targeted product instead of a full protocol. No upsells, no surprise charges.
Book a ServiceHow is this different from a dermatologist or med spa?+
Dermatologists prescribe from a fixed formulary, same molecules, same strengths, for every patient. Med spas are run by aestheticians without prescribing rights. We sit in the middle: clinical, clinical-grade, and able to compound a formulation specifically for you. It's the level of customization neither model can offer on its own.
Book a ServiceWhat if I book and it's not the right fit?+
Your consultation is a clinical conversation, not a commitment. You leave with a written plan whether or not you book treatment. If we don't believe we're the right partner for your concern, we'll say so and point you toward someone who is. No pressure, no high-touch follow-up.
Book a ServiceHow long until I actually see something change?+
Most patients see measurable improvement within 4 to 6 weeks. Deeper structural changes (texture, tone, barrier resilience) typically appear over a 3-month series. We track progress with photos at every visit so you're not guessing, you can see exactly what's shifting and why.
Book a ServiceWhy should I trust a board-certified skin expert over a doctor's office?+
Clinical skin experts are the people doctors call when a stock prescription isn't working. We've spent years building the formulations a dermatology office hands you a sample of. Pairing that lab-side expertise with a clinical spa means your protocol and your treatment come from the same team, no broken handoff between prescriber and provider.
