Clinical
Facials

Most facials feel good in the moment but don't change anything long-term.

That's because they only treat the surface, relaxing, but not corrective.

You've spent hundreds on treatments that wore off by Tuesday.

Whether it's aging, congestion, or hormonal change, surface work won't reach the layer where the problem actually lives.

If You Wait

What happens if you do nothing?

Cellular turnover slows every year. The difference between skin that ages well and skin that doesn't is intervention timing. Clinical facials produce compounding returns, the earlier you build the cadence, the bigger the long-term payoff.

Before You Book

The reasons people hesitate, answered.

Every question below is one we've heard from patients who almost didn't book. Here are the honest answers.

What is transdermal nutrition in skincare?+

Transdermal nutrition delivers bioavailable nutrients through the skin at the cellular level, rather than sitting on the surface. Because we're a clinical skincare lab, our serums are built to actually be absorbed, that's the difference between a facial that 'feels nice' and one that changes how your skin functions.

What's the difference between a clinical facial and a regular spa facial?+

Spa facials are designed to relax you. Clinical facials are designed to change your skin. Ours are expert-built, use transdermal nutrition, support the lymphatic system, and repair the barrier, so improvements compound visit over visit instead of fading by Tuesday.

How often should I get a facial?+

For most clients, every 4–6 weeks matches the skin's natural cell turnover cycle. If you're correcting a specific concern (acne, rosacea, post-menopausal dullness) we typically recommend a 5-session series first, then move to maintenance.

Do you have facials for men?+

Yes, the Gentleman's Facial () is a corrective treatment for congestion, aging, and razor irritation, and the Beardsmith Treatment () is built specifically for skin under facial hair: less itch, fewer ingrowns, healthier barrier.

What facial is best for menopausal skin?+

The Luminizing Facial. Hormonal transitions affect the skin more than most treatments acknowledge, this protocol uses targeted transdermal nutrition to support collagen activity, vitality, and luminosity during perimenopause and menopause.

Which facial should I book first?+

If you're new to us, the Keystone Signature Facial is the right first visit, it's our foundational protocol and works for almost every skin type. From there we'll recommend Detoxifying, Luminizing, or a men's-specific protocol based on what your skin actually needs.

Will this actually work if nothing else has?+

Honestly, that's the patient we see most. The reason over-the-counter products and one-size-fits-all prescriptions usually fail isn't you, it's the formulation. We're clinical skin experts, which means your protocol is built specifically for your skin's chemistry, barrier state, and trigger pattern. If after a full consultation we don't believe we can move the needle for you, we'll tell you that, and refer you somewhere that can.

What if I can't afford it?+

We get it. Consultations are flat-rate and applied toward your first treatment, so you're never paying twice. Series packages reduce per-session pricing significantly, and we'll always show you the lowest-cost path that still gets results, even if that means starting with a single targeted product instead of a full protocol. No upsells, no surprise charges.

How is this different from a dermatologist or med spa?+

Dermatologists prescribe from a fixed formulary, same molecules, same strengths, for every patient. Med spas are run by aestheticians without prescribing rights. We sit in the middle: clinical, clinical-grade, and able to compound a formulation specifically for you. It's the level of customization neither model can offer on its own.

What if I book and it's not the right fit?+

Your consultation is a clinical conversation, not a commitment. You leave with a written plan whether or not you book treatment. If we don't believe we're the right partner for your concern, we'll say so and point you toward someone who is. No pressure, no high-touch follow-up.

How long until I actually see something change?+

Most patients see measurable improvement within 4 to 6 weeks. Deeper structural changes (texture, tone, barrier resilience) typically appear over a 3-month series. We track progress with photos at every visit so you're not guessing, you can see exactly what's shifting and why.

Why should I trust a board-certified skin expert over a doctor's office?+

Clinical skin experts are the people doctors call when a stock prescription isn't working. We've spent years building the formulations a dermatology office hands you a sample of. Pairing that lab-side expertise with a clinical spa means your protocol and your treatment come from the same team, no broken handoff between prescriber and provider.
